Returning to School update General Graphic

Johnson County Schools places the safety of our students and staff above all else. As we began planning for what the 2020-2021 school year will look like, we created a survey for our parents, teachers, and staff. Between the three surveys, we received over 1,000 completed surveys. Across each survey, the majority wished to return to in-person classes for the upcoming school year.

Johnson County Food Service ROCKS!

While today is our last day delivering meals via bus routes, we want to take a minute to stop and thank everyone who made this possible for our students. Thank you to ALL of our cafeteria workers, bus drivers, administrators, teachers and assistants who worked together to feed our students during this time.

Our cafeteria staff produced an average of over 10,000 meals per week for the past 9 weeks!

Again, thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to support our students and this program!

Updates to the Johnson County Schools Call Out System School Messenger Image

Johnson County Schools have been using software for several years to communicate with its parents, staff and students about local events, school schedule changes and general school related information. There have been some major updates to the software over the past couple of months that have not allowed our e-mail communication to go out alongside our voice messages. This has created some confusion and has limited effective communication between the schools and parents. With assistance and guidance from our software team at School Messenger, we have a solution in place that will allow everyone to continue receiving calls via voice and e-mail.
